Publication Ethics

Journal of Health Policy and Management (JHPM) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and ensuring the integrity of the scientific record. The journal adheres to the guidelines and best practices established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All parties involved in the publication process—including authors, editors, peer reviewers, and publishers—are expected to act with honesty, transparency, and accountability.

Authors must ensure that their submissions are original, free from plagiarism, and have not been published or submitted elsewhere. All sources must be properly cited, and any potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed. Data should be presented accurately, and any form of data fabrication, falsification, or manipulation is strictly prohibited. In cases involving human or animal subjects, authors must confirm that appropriate ethical approval has been obtained and that ethical guidelines have been followed.

Editors and reviewers must treat all submissions with confidentiality and fairness, avoiding any bias or conflict of interest. Reviewers are expected to provide constructive, objective, and timely feedback to support editorial decisions and help authors improve the quality of their work.

JHPM takes all allegations of research misconduct seriously. In cases of suspected ethical breaches, the journal will initiate investigations in accordance with COPE procedures and take appropriate action, which may include correction, retraction, or other measures as necessary. Through these commitments, JHPM aims to foster a trustworthy and transparent scholarly environment.
